Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor who hails from Bahrain's Manama was raised in an ethnically diverse family. Jacqueline's parents are Malaysian as well as from Sri Lanka. She was a badminton player at the national championships while young teenagers, however she decided to give her sporting career in order to become a model. Padukone's native language is Konkani. The model is Mangalorean from her birthplace. Her family ancestors are from the town of Padukone within the Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district in Karnataka state, which is located in India. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an old badminton player who is of world-class fame, while her mother is a travel agent.
